They had worked on so many B2B websites in the past. The deciding factors that we considered were experience of the service provider in developing B2B websites (preferably civil and construction industry), versatile technology stack, adept understanding of minimalistic design, and cost-effectiveness. After we visited a few of their portfolios and read their case studies, we found all of them magnificent in terms of design, functionalities and other parameters that mattered to our project.

When we sent them a project consultation request, they were quick enough in responding to our query. We were in talks with one of their team members in the next four hours since we sent them our first mail. We outreached Sparx IT Solutions with a wireframe and an old website which was developed years ago. We asked them about their suggestions on redesigning it or developing a brand new website. On the next day, after reviewing our requirements, we received a quote from their team with a complete process structure and their inputs on the project. We found everything very comprehensive. The website has been developed using a CMS. Some parts of the website are still being tested and we do not wish to disclose the technology stack for now.

We were not expecting a large team deployed on our project but ended up with six members of Sparx IT Solutions working on our project. Because of such an approach followed by them, we were not worried about the timelines. Every segment was being delivered timely. And, now we have got enough time to prepare effective marketing strategies before launching the website.

We were updated on every major or minor development on our website through communication tools. We received detailed reports on a regular basis. We would have our list of features and requirements. The application was to be developed for the Android platform firstly. When we received their prototype, we were assured to see their precise understanding of our ideas and requirements. With a few inputs, they began to design our app. They kept on sharing the updates on every development or challenges in the project with our coordination team.

The Android app has been developed using Java whereas the iOS app has been developed using Swift 3.0. Material design was utilized for creating the front-end. MySQL was included as a database. From product design, development to logo design, everything they worked on, was seeming quite satisfactory to us. Since this product was to be used by anyone who wants to take a ride and drivers, we wanted the product to feature elements being a navigator for them. The deliverables matched all of our requirements.

They have been supportive when it comes to maintenance and upgrading the application.

Their project management style is impressive. They take every single project seriously and make sure that it does affect their sustainable identity. Whenever we got the chance to interact with their leadership, it seemed that they always wanted to ensure maximum satisfaction of their clients which is, of course, a good thing. They followed an agile approach for building our product and kept us updated timely. Though they were available on many platforms i.e. Slack, Skype, WhatsApp, Gmail, etc., we preferred Slack for any communication. We also had Skype groups for basic queries or discussions but primarily it was Slack. There were dedicated timelines for each segment for developing the project which were fulfilled every time. Perhaps, this is the reason the project was delivered before our estimated timeline.

The goal was to keep our applications very simplistic by design yet include more functionalities. We want our customers to know what we have for them in real estate business and get into some real deals.

We were never in a hurry when it was about finding the best mobile app developers for our project. We went through a lot of companies' profiles. We analyzed them on many factors from portfolio to their customer reviews. They stood out to us as a better choice for developing our real estate app.

Other crucial factors that were among the reasons why we chose them are that they seemed to be very understanding of our needs and expectations. They also showcased some outstanding applications in their portfolio which were quite appealing so we had no reason to not choose them.

After we finalized a deal, we got into a meeting with the team members which included the business and development team. They outlined our main requirements with a wireframe. There were discussions on focusing on some major parts of the application.

I remember that some of the team members also provided us their inputs when we asked them to include any more features that could help us outreach more to the audience and manage them effectively.

The team is working on our native application for Android that is being developed using Kotlin and a few more technologies.

Our first interaction was with a senior business analyst who set up our coordination with other key members of the team. There were an account manager, senior business analysts, and the development team lead who understood our needs.

A few more times we got to interact with developers working on the application who were very communicative and informative when asked about the development and challenges if there were any.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since the project is still undergoing, we cannot really mention any measurable outcomes here but what we have observed so far is quite satisfactory. They have included everything an ideal real estate must have to get growth.

Moreover, we and the company are always in touch to keep bringing out-of-the-box things to the application.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I would call their project management style quite flexible. However, there are schedules defined before every call to keep the pointers of meetings noted and escaping to miss out any major discussion.

Our communication is generally held through Skype, email, direct messaging. I was told that they are also available on 10-12 more major communication platforms. There are short-term goals for every development, and so far it has always been achieved. I hope it goes the same in upcoming segments as well.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I have worked with many companies. Each one of them were somehow different from the other. What I have observed differently working with Sparx IT Solutions is, they keep things very professional, ethical yet it's all flexible.

I am amazed as a client and did not expect that it will be this comfortable to get such a large-scale app developed.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We are not done working with them yet. The app is yet to be launched. so I would really come to conclusion for suggesting them on any particular type of improvement. Though we do expect them to be flexible on some of our new projects that we may surely ask them to work on.

We reached out to people at sparx through LinkedIn when a friend of ours shared their online portfolio with us. We were impressed to see their versatile portfolio and experience something we were willing to work with.

We reached out to the through the query form given on their website. They responded within two to three hours with the details. One of their business associate asked us to have a quick call with their team to discuss the project. They described different possibilies of the project very well.

Things got clear timely so we stepped ahead to the development within four days. We were provided the wireframe which looked fine to us. Afterward, we got a more visualized form of wireframe which they called prototype of our website.

They complete the project within a month with all required deliverables such as the inclusion of new features, advanced payment methods. The website was built using wordpress & php.

There was a team of five people out of whom we only used to interact with UI/UX Design Team Lead, a Sr. backend developer whose niche was in WordPress and php, and a project manager.

We got our deliverables rightly which we are quite satisfied with. Many of our friends in the market have admired our website's appearance and user experience. We cannot say that the growth in our business is only due to the website as we also have an app and third-party platforms, but yes it does play a crucial role.

Their project management style is quite impressive. They followed the agile methodology to execute our website's development tasks. They said that they hear what their customers say, then, they suggest which means they were open to suggestions and use their technological expertise on them.

They had multiple alternatives for every task. I came to know this when our technology head talked to them over a call. They segregated things in order of costs and efficiency with nothing hidden behind the high-level technology talks. I liked this attitude of theirs. It seemed quite credible.

More exciting complimentary packages, frequent discounts. Rest they were good.

They developed a cross-platform app and shared updates with us regularly. The work on the agile approach which gave us flexibility. I salute them for all-time availability. They were available on all the three tools that we used any time for the meeting or text. We both adhere to the timelines of payments and work.

I would say it was a mutually agreed partnership that ended well.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They should be more clear about the technologies they will be using on the first day. They updated us in the mid of the project about a change that I didn't like. Although it didn't affect us pr the project still I would recommend them to finalize technologies at an early stage.
